Always Watching

People, that is. Pick a high traffic spot, find a seat, bring a snack, and observe. Sometimes it’s nice to just slow down and watch the world go by. Some suggestions for where to sit include; malls, parks, Walmart, etc. You’ll be amazed (and probably get a few laughs) at what you see when you slow down!

Lots and LOTS of people here!

Do the Hop

No dancing or bunnies required. This is a restaurant hop! Have appetizers at one location, then have entrées at another. Finally, end with dessert at your final destination. It can also make a nice compromising technique if you’re stuck in the middle of an ‘ol “but I REALLY want THIS” battle. Example: Appetizer: Waffle Fries by Chick-fil-A, Entrées: Tacos by Taco Bell, Dessert: Ice Cream by Dairy Queen. Boom! You can go as expensive or cheap as you would like!

YUM!

Gazing

Stargazing! Weather permitting, stargazing can be ultra romantic. Best part is, nature does all the work for you! Bring a blanket to lay on, and another blanket if it is cold outside. Next, just find a sweet spot and voilà! To take things to the next level, I suggest brownies. Or any other dessert, I just have my mind set on brownies right now. Take things next NEXT level, download the app that you can hold up and identify the stars and constellations with! Go as little or all out with this date idea a you’d like. Either way, it’s almost entirely free!

Moonrise over Holmes Beach, FL.

I’d Kiss You but They Said Don’t Touch the Masterpieces

It’s cozy, it’s educational, it’s a museum! Use Google or a Museum Finder tool to find the perfect match. Often times museums will offer a discount day, so make sure you check out the rates and specials page of whatever museum you choose. If you want to add food to the date equation, most museums offer at least a cafe where you can sit, take a break, and reconnect over a coffee and a snack.

I’m one of those people that genuinely enjoys art museum.

Don’t Forget, U R A Q T

You know, the pick up line including letters of the alphabet.. Anyways, here’s the plan, you take alternating turns picking things to do (or simply talk about) while going through the alphabet. For example, if I were to start I would have ACEGIKMOQSUW and Y. It sounds like a lot, but it doesn’t have to be complicated. It could be as simple as “H: Hold hands or F: Favorite Avenger” Or obscure as “E: Ride in an Elevator.” I’ll go through and make a full list, but I encourage you to think on personal experience and ideas to come up with your own!
