I love this date because it’s creative but also specific. You only eat and/or do activities that you have a coupon for! Food, shopping, entertainment, museums, there are coupons for everything! Additionally, I don’t know if everywhere does this but where we live, the local schools will have fundraisers where they have coupon books geared toward our local community! It’s a win-win-win!
Fleas & Farmers
Markets, that is. Flea Markets and Farmers Markets are very in right now which is great because that means you can probably find one near you! If you aren’t already aware of your local market, take to Google and search “Farmers Market ________” with your towns name in the blank space! Voila! Even if you aren’t really interested in buying anything, there’s always so much to see, learn, and new people to meet! It’s sure to be a fun, unique experience.
Painting With a Plot Twist
If you haven’t heard of the growing in popularity business idea, you essentially sign up for an art class and can purchase alcoholic beverages during the class. It’s a fun experience but is certainly anything but cheap. That’s why this idea is great to DIY at home! Buy two blank canvases (they generally come in packs of two at Michael’s anyways), some paint & brushes (Dollar store sells both), and whatever drinks you would both like! All from the comfort of your home! You can choose something around the house to paint, try painting each other, or follow a painting tutorial on YouTube!
Yours & Mine
It may sound a little boring but can be surprisingly liberating when you’re in a dating rut. Take turns (different nights) giving complete control over to each other. You will then do your favorite everything! Food, dessert, game or activity, you get the idea. You’re the boss for the night. Obviously, it will be wise to still respect each other even on your night, unless you’re okay with this being your last date. But try your hardest on their night to just go with the flow and have an open mind. You may end up enjoying food you didn’t think you would like, or a game you originally thought would be boring!
On the Search
Go out on the search for the best ______ in town! Blank on purpose! Choose a consumable good and taste test around the town. Order the smallest amount at each location so you have room to try a few. This is also a great way to explore new areas of your town. Do some research ahead of time to see where the great people of the internet are saying is their favorite _____ in your area, make a list, then go choose for yourself!
