Love is Brewing

Ever wonder where beer comes from? Or interested to know the processes behind whiskey making? Touring breweries and distilleries can be a really awesome experience (that sometimes even includes samples). Additionally, depending on the size of the establishment, tours are often free or cheap! However, this is definitely a date to plan ahead of time. So just jump on Google and find the closest local brewery or distillery (and check out their website) to see what your area has to offer!

Learn all about the age old processes.

To Be or Not…

Love the arts but not the Broadway prices? Try checking your local High School’s production set list. Additionally, search nearby for a Performing Arts Center or other small theaters. Often you will find great talent and entertainment at a fraction of the cost! Added bonus is that you will be supporting local talent as well!

Lets Get Festive

Festivals, fairs, carnivals. Whatever you call them, they can be a great time! One of the amazing things about festivals is they can revolve around pretty much anything! Pets, Medieval times, Arts & Crafts, Jazz, Food & Wine, Motorcycles, Beer & Bacon, the list goes on and on! So for this festive date, I suggest using your favorite search engine to see what’s coming to a wide open area near you soon!

On the Hunt

Scavenger hunt, self guided tour, quest, challenge, dash, roaming, walks. Whatever you call it, the gist is someone basically writes up and leads you through a scavenger hunt for you to run around a city and get to see some cool sights. You could easily find one of these for cheap on Groupon.
Twist: Write up a personalized scavenger hunt for your partner. Go along with them and offer clues as needed. Come up with a prize that you will both enjoy at the end.

This is a great date for the competitive or adventurous in nature.

Spark Joy

Set a date for de-cluttering. Does it sound initially romantic? Not really.. But I have faith! Set the mood with candles and music. Have snacks and beverages handy. Helping each other sort through and de-clutter the house can be a huge relief and relaxing thing to do. Keep in mind, this is geared more toward couples who live together, unless you’re sure that you are totally comfortable with your partner going through all that (possibly embarrassing or gross) junk.

A clean house reduces stress and increases happiness and productivity!
